FDG Financial Group Announces Grant Programs

FDG Financial Group secures grant funding source for local entrepreneurs

ST. LOUIS, Missouri—September 24, 2004—The FDG Financial Group today announced its
formal alliance with a funding partner that is offering direct grants to new and existing small
business owners. This new program offers upwards to $10,000 and the application deadline is
December 1st, 2004.

“This new grant program is provided through one of our professional business partners. New and
existing business owners may apply. There is even a program for High School teachers to
compete on a $1,000 grant for Entrepreneurial education.”

“The application fee of $19.95 is waived through a strategic cooperative program with the FDG
Financial Group,” says Freeborn. “All applications are completed on line which reduces the
normal review process,” Freeborn said “and the link to the grant provider is available on our
website at www.fdg-1.com.”

“All grant funds are competitive which means you must be creative in your application,” claims
Freeborn. “Since the grants are competitive, it is important to incorporate the entrepreneurial
spirit and offer some kind of benefit to the company that has an impact in the community or
business arena.”

The FDG Financial Group does not provide grants. All applications are processed and approved
by their cooperative funding partner found on the website. FDG does not review or approve grant
applications. The grants are competitive and there are no guarantees that applicants will receive
funding. FDG cannot provide information on the status of grant applications. All inquiries
regarding the grant program should be directed to website link provided for the funding source by
FDG.
